Who is The Cat Selman Company?

In 1988, Catherine R. Selman and Donna M. McLemore founded The Healthcare Communicators, Inc. In 2018, for better branding, it was decided to change the company name to The Cat Selman Company. The company was originally designed to be straightforward in concept and philosophy, to provide quality education and training to professionals in aging services who share the responsibility of caring for elders. Cat and Donna have a combined 65 years of education, experience and knowledge to this mission.

Since our founding in 1988, we have built and maintained a reputation for delivering professional excellence in education and motivational speaking. Our goal has been to directly impact healthcare professionals with skills and techniques that can be used daily. As the industry has experienced significant change, we also have adapted and grown to reflect those changes. In addition to providing discipline-specific education, we now provide presentations on motivation, team building and management techniques. Here at The Cat Selman Company, we believe that learning should be fun, the information/material should be “doable,” and individuals should be able to remember what they are taught! Thanks to the sponsorship and support of The Cat Selman Company, we have been able to successfully exceed those expectations.

Today, we are just as committed to our philosophy and mission as we were in 1988. In fact, our passion and dedication are even stronger! We invite you to experience our educational training on a different level. Watch and participate in our continued progress as we expand our delivery of educational and motivational opportunities via the internet.
