Effective November 28, 2017, CMS will require nursing facilities to conduct, document, and annually review a facility-wide assessment. The intent of the facility assessment is for the facility to evaluate its resident population and identify the resources needed to provide the necessary person-centered care and services the residents require. That’s the requirement - but how do we do it? How does a facility put together an assessment that will accurately reflect both the quantity and competency skill level of its employees? The Facility Assessment will be a primary focus for surveyors during the new process that begins in November. Cat will be sharing specific content, outline and resources from which a facility can formulate an individualized assessment. She will be covering the major components of the assessment: Resident Profile, Services and Care Offered, and Facility Resources Needed. Join Cat in this 1-hour webinar to learn the basic steps necessary for the development of this document. No education credit will be awarded for this webinar; it is simply an informative, “how we do it” training session.
Cost: $99.00 per user.
User is defined as one computer and one phone line per registrant. There is no limit to the number of participants per user. In other words, gather as many staff as you want around a computer to learn or broadcast the webinar to an entire room via an LCD projector.
